If you are going to criticise then please be constructive as just posting, its rubbish, well be deleted.
Suggestions can be anything from design to what tutorials you would like to see.
The following are what I have planned to do:

Are you still interested in getting hosting from my friend?
Also, I dont know if they would go for it or not, but you might be able to request a copy of the database used by this forum, and there are plenty of phpBB2->SMF 1.1 RC3 converters available, which we could use to convert everything, including members and posts and even PMs, to use with SMF. SMF is a far greater system (in my opinion) and is also far more secure (that one's a fact) than phpBB2 _________________ United States Marine Corps Poolee |

Hello!
Your website has been my number one asset in learning the editor. However, there is some stuff I'm hoping you could cover to help me out... perhaps in the form of tutorials like the ones you currently have up. I'll list them in bullet point format. Unfortunately I don't know anything about 2da editing or scripting...
- Making NPC's cast spells. I gave a red dragon a bunch of stuff, like extra breath attacks and fireballs, but he never used any of them.
- Making weapons scale with creature resize. The lizardfolk seem to have this, but the Horned Devil, for example, does not.
- Giving creatures special effects. I did a bit of searching and it seems you can change the way a creature's skin is rendered, ie make them glowy and stuff. I'd love to know how to do this as no real definitive explanation was given.
- The process of implimenting a soundset for a creature to use. As an established voice actor and composer, I really would love to know how to give my encounters and bosses their own taunts and attack sounds, as well as spell casting sounds.
- What needs to be done to a texture to make the skin more shiny, and make it further effected by tint options (such as the Iron Golem, I want to make him shine and be completely pink. If you ask why...)
Thank you for your consideration, and keep up the excellent work! _________________ yope |

I think this variable should work for the Red Dragon X2_L_BEH_OFFENSE
The higher you set the integer, the more likelyhood there is they'll use them . Of course this won't fix it if it's actually a bug that's causing it not to work.. |

I *think* I know what a variable is...
Also, is there a way to prevent my preplaced npcs from slaughtering each other before the character gets there to watch? _________________ yope |

Firstly, great site, good tutorials.
Secondly, I have a couple of suggestions that might help make the NPC/Merchant tutorial just a tiny bit better.
Part 1: Setting up the shops conversation.
| NPC/Merchant Tutorial wrote: |
Now left click on the "I like to see what you have" and then right click on the white space below again and then click on Add and then click on OK. You will now see a line in between the two END DIALOG lines which starts with CONTINUE,
|
This is actually not necessary, as it brings up the shop before you choose the Continue option, which is kinda... eh, ya.
You can put the script on the "Hail and well met. I would like to see what you have for sale" line, it waits till you actually choose that option to open the shop.
Also you left out the word "would" from that block, should be "I would like...".
Sorry, kinda nitpicking I know.
Part 2: Still in same general spot.
You may want to add in a brief note on the fact that the person making the shop should select the Actions tab, instead of using the default Conditions tab, or the toolset will kick up an error message whenever they try entering the stores tag, which is very annoying... |

Thanks for the nickpicking, I like it and have changed the wording of I like to I would like
Regarding the Store, I will run the tutorial again through patch 1.4 as I did that tutorial in 1.2 and it did not throw those errors.
Again thanks for taking the time out |

Suggestion for the grass tutorial:
Perhaps it would be worth mentioning in the grass turorial that grass adds a lot to the module size so depending on how important module size is to the builder, grass should be painted sparsely.
(As a personal point of view tt also looks much better when it's not over done)
I'd post a screenshot of the optimal way to use it but I don't have one at hand currently, I can however provide one later if needed be.
Anyhow, just a suggestion. |

Any idea on how much grass when added adds to the size of the module? |

I ran a test on a blank area.
New module, one flat, unmodified 8x8 area: Size 6.9 MB
If I fill the 8x8 tiles with grass the size is: 14.7 MB
And that is without even thinking of adding grass to the background-scene tiles.
Also there seems to be a limit to how much of each type of grass you can place in one metatile, however there doesn't seem to be a limit to how many different types you can have in one metatile; so if you fill the amount for one sort, you can just fill out with another sort.
Bad way:
Good way:

I have a suggestion for the forums web site itself, that is could the text colours be changed. I find the colors of the text showing author etc difficult to read as it is too close to the main background colour. Perhaps making that text color something like this instead of the current yellow. |
