Kazgoroth has seen fit to entrust me with a group project on this website, and I need more folks. I have a good team so far, but some other functions are needed.

Here's what I'm hoping for:

1: Dedicated people. I may not call on your specialty for weeks at a time, but I'd like to see results when I do call on you.

2: Pleasant people. I like to think of myself as a nice dude. We will remain civil at all times.

3: Patient people. We're not all the "best" at every aspect of this. That's why we have a team. Be willing and able to explain things to other members of the team, without getting annoyed at their "newbiness." Trust me, that guy you want to holler at knows SOMETHING you don't.

Here's some functions I need filled, right this instant:

1: Item creators/merchant inventory populators. This is a tedious and thankless job, but is relatively easy. Right away, I'm looking for someone willing to create a custom version of EVERY melee weapon in the game with the "Attack Bonus +1" property, and name them "Masterwork x" as in "Masterwork Longsword; Masterwork Club," et cetera. I miss the good-old masterwork items from the v3.5 PHB.

2: Story consultants. All this function means: I have a story idea, I mention it to you, you say "That sucks," "That's awesome," or--preferably--"If you did it THIS way, it would be even better."

3: Area designers. Right now, Alucelestria is creating areas to order for me: I provide specs, he delivers. He is VERY good at what he does, and I currently consider him my Chief area designer. What I still need are "general" area designers. I would give you wide parameters (Exterior/Interior, X size, needs to fill Y function), and let you go wild with your creative juices. If I get to the point that I can tell three different people "I need THIS area," and get three different samples, and pick the one that most fits my vision, I will be a purring kitten.

Further along, I will need:

4: Sound technicians. People who know how to record voice acting, import it into modules, and can explain it to the voice actors I have waiting for assignments (currently 2 male, 2 female).

5: Playtesters. Folks willing to do their best to break the game, to find the bugs. And folks willing to examine the story, and see how it could be better.

More to come, folks. Send me a PM on this forum, I'll shoot you my email address, and we'll see if you're the right fit for the team or not.

Happy modding, folks!

Ah, there you are. We need to get you access to the team forum--I'll shoot Kaz a line about that forthwith.

Folks, things are starting to move, here. Maxthemerc has provided me with an entire array of Masterwork melee weapons, and I've got some working areas from Alucelestria. Thanks for all the support, folks.

I hope to see some content soon from Alucelestria and Bigdrip681 in the way of areas; once their area-projects are complete, I'll have a fun bit of stuff to hand out: some side quests, at level 2-5!

That's right; I don't mind having some outside folks lay in some quests at all. Here's what I can tell you so far: The quests will be in/around a large city (interior dungeon stuff, or nearby wilderness stuff, or whatever takes your fancy--hell, if it's an exotic location that doesn't fit, I suppose I could pop in a portal). Start coding away if you're interested; I'll give more details on parameters as soon as Mister Sprinkies finishes the project I assigned him this evening.

If you're interested, go ahead and start working at it now. Let your own creativity guide you here, although I will have some *rules* as to how you name things--I stand ready to import your NPCs, journal entries, conversations, et cetera.

As for place-names and character names. This campaign does not happen in the FR. For now, name *people* whatever you want to name them, and I'll incorporate it (changing a name only if there's a repeat). As for *places,* use abstractions like "the caves nearby" or "the weapon shop in this town," and I'll put in the actual names upon edit.

If your subquests *almost* but *not quite* fit the main story, I'll either shoot them back to you with change requests, or make minor changes myself. Reply in this thread or PM me if you're looking to submit, and I'll send you my email so I can collect the files.

Thanks for your continued support!

If you are short on area designers, i could help out for one or the other task. However i cant dedicate right now as a permanent worker. But if you need a small to medium sized area i could probably work something out.

I think this project is on hold as the lead had to go abroad due to work.

Hmm, I'm pretty late here ain't I? Well, no matter! If you still need help, I could help as a story consultant and/or an area designer. You might want to see what kinds of areas I've been creating, so take a look at this link:
