Thats so cool, I know the guy IRL who wrote that whole thing. He used to manage the first PW I ever played on.
Seems almost to easy to start my own PW if I wanted. |

It is a very good article and I regret that I never got round to completing the setup of a PW.
This is something that I am going to put right in NWN2 |

Always good to see another person have input into what they think is needed. Go for it. |

I agree . . . people should be ambitious, and creating a PW is really fun . . . hard? mmm, depends, on your experience with DnD and other things . . . mainly, just time consuming, but possible if a small one alone . . . _________________ Dragonsbane777 (NG hm Brd16/Wiz5 (Ill)) . . When an NPC is dead then a true persistent world would keep the NPC dead, but some PWs on a server restart would raise the NPC.
DM = Dungeon Master and normally they would interact with the players and come up with a story. They would roleplay with their own characters with the players just like pen and paper D&D.
DMs would also keep an eye for cheaters or people that are power gamers (especially if they are in a RP server) i.e. they level up very fast, by maybe killing creatures that re spawn in the same area. |
