Is there any way to take another character and play a specific mission from the OC?

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, the only way I can think of would be to take an existing save just before where you want to play and edit out your old char and put the new one in. To be honest, I dont really know enough about the way the game saves to even know if that is viable.

As for a built-in system, I do not believe that one exists, if it is there I cant find it.

Sorry man. Sad

Sincerely,

OK I'm going to answer my own question as I figured it out, so this may be helpful to others:

-Copy the .mod file for the mission you want to play from the modules folder in the main game folder into my documents/neverwinter nights2/modules folder.

-Rename it by removing the preffix numbers, (so for example; 2400_Illfarn_ruins becomes just Illfarn_ruins).

Now it will show up as a new module for separate play. When you enter the module you'll first enconter a companion selection module, which makes me think this was an original intent of the developers but never implemented for the release.

Oh cool, nice find. Thanks for sharing it, there are a couple of scenes I wouldnt mind playing through as a character of a significantly different alignment. Twisted Evil

Sincerely,

Warning: I think the developers definitely left this scripting unfinished because the companions I picked up were all very low levels, all the OC companios are available but they were all low-levelled and had minimal equipment. There was no auto level-up for them, and Sand did not have a single spell. So make sure you buy enough equipment to outfit them before trying this with the higher missions. I think I spent over 200k to get them enough gear.
