So what are people's thoughts on this expansion?

Personally I could do without the epic levels, the new base class and the PCr, however I am looking much forward to more creatures and new placeables as well as terrain options.

Me too, but i guess that it's because i'm a very inexperienced D&D player, so the different classes and their abilities are enough for me right now.

I also look forward to even more of nicely drawn placeables to use.

I play or plan mainly hardcore PWs and becoming past level 7 is epic Smile

Could also do without Epic and add in more placeables, tilesets and of course creatures....

More tilesets would definately be nice, but also a way to create cave floors that don't look so "nice and clean" - i have read at the official forum that a guy has found a way to make caves so they look more natural by using exterior editor - but you probably already know that !

Yeah its nice...we may use it in our PW as a final area of a cave due to size..

Would be nice to have an Underdark set..I know some guy has done alot of work on this, but an official one would be cool

I think that Obsidian should purchase the rights for, and implement many of, the tools made by the community - i know that this has been discussed at the official forum and i also know why Obsidian don't do it (again, from reading through the various threads).

The release of tools and wizards for the toolset will just make it even better (read: more userfriendly) for the average person, because as it is now the toolset still bear "the scars" of being made for professional designers and not for common people.

Anyway, i hope that this will change over time.
