Hello
I have read Hellcow's "Texturing a road" and i think it's great
However, since i seem to learn better by watching than reading abut it I would really like if it was possible for you to make a video tutorial on it.
I'm aware that you probably make a tutorial on texturing in general later on, but this one is something in particular i would find really useful. |

Well it will be out of the order that I was planning, but seeing as you have been so helpful with the codex....I will make sure it is the next one |
Well, I don't know what to say - i'll guess a thank you is by far the least i can do.
Please don't make it now if it completely ruins your scheduled release of other tutorials, because then i'll patiently wait untill you have the time for it - no need to rush |

Too late...its already up...check out the usual place
Hellcow has slapped me in that the video was shot using default lighting....Should have had it on Daytime.
May reshoot if it looks bad....thought and comments are welcomed, even if they are bad comments |

Hey Kaz
Great video - I really felt that i learned something
I think that other users whom are also less experienced with the art of texturing will benefit from watching it - like i did !
I also want to say that i find the comments you make during the tutorial very informative (it just seems to get better every time you make one !) and i liked the way inwhich you end the tutorial by comparing the two road sections, because this shows users why they should spend just a little extra time on details as the end results will end up looking so much better.
Well done and keep'em comming |

Thanks very much for that...Alot of the thanks should go to our fellow Toolset team member as it was her contribution that inspired the video tutorial.

There are more texture tutorials in the planning. To mention a few:
- Path texturing
- City Street Texturing
- Forest Floor Texturing
- Mountain/Cliff Texturing
I will leave it up to Kaz if they will be made into video tutorials as well though. _________________ - Team member of the NWN2 Toolset site

Maybe you two should stick your heads together and plan more video tutorials, because it seem to me that @Hellcow is very good at making tutorials in writing and you, @Kazgoroth, is great at making video tutorials of them. |
